Zorinia Design was commissioned to transform a 2-bedroom apartment in The Residences at Marina Gate into a sleek, technologically advanced urban sanctuary. The client, a young professional, sought a 'clean and technological' aesthetic, making Dubai Marina interior design a focal point. Our approach centered on creating a highly functional yet visually uncluttered living space that maximizes the breathtaking vistas of the Dubai Marina skyline. Our initial consultation revealed a clear desire for luxury 2BR apartment renovation that prioritized both form and function. The existing layout, while spacious, lacked the contemporary edge and integrated technology the client envisioned. We proposed a complete overhaul of the living and kitchen areas, opening them up to create a fluid, expansive space. Key to this was the removal of a non-structural wall and the careful selection of an integrated kitchen system that would recede into the background when not in use. This commitment to minimalist principles ensured that the apartment's prime asset – the panoramic views – remained the undisputed star.

Achieving seamless smart home integration was paramount for this project, aligning with the client's vision for a 'technological' aesthetic. Our design incorporated hidden wiring, automated lighting, and climate control systems that are intuitive to operate and virtually invisible. In the master bedroom, the focus remained on tranquility and functionality. A custom-designed headboard, upholstered in a light grey fabric, incorporates integrated reading lights and discreet charging points. Storage was maximized with floor-to-ceiling wardrobes featuring handleless doors, finished in a matte white laminate to blend seamlessly with the walls. The en-suite bathroom echoes the apartment's overall aesthetic with large format porcelain tiles in a concrete finish, a floating vanity with integrated lighting, and brushed black fixtures, creating a spa-like retreat.

The second bedroom was designed with flexibility in mind, serving as both a guest room and a home office. A murphy bed system allows the room to transform from a private workspace during the day to a comfortable sleeping area at night. The desk is integrated into a custom joinery unit, providing ample storage for office supplies and keeping the workspace tidy. This thoughtful design ensures every square meter of the 135 sqm apartment is utilized efficiently, reflecting Zorinia Design's commitment to intelligent space planning.

Our factory-direct model was instrumental in delivering this project within the client's budget and timeline. By sourcing matte lacquered cabinetry, Dekton countertops, and custom lighting fixtures directly from manufacturers, we ensured superior quality and cost-effectiveness. This approach allowed for greater customization and higher-grade materials than typically achievable within a comparable budget through traditional retail channels. The result is a truly bespoke, high-end finish that perfectly encapsulates the client's vision for a technological yet serene living environment in the heart of Dubai Marina.
